Suckler Stray

2015

Dogs are colloquially referred to as “man’s best friend”, and they’re largely demonstrative of human beings’ capacity for love and establishing family. Reminiscent of the mythos of Romulus and Remus, this image reminds us that human ingenuity would never have been possible without the generative powers of nature. Additionally, this image also conjures a sense of familial bonding, which is a sentiment that extends far beyond human conceptualization.
